I have moved into my new house over the christmas period and am settling in, so I will have time to start on my robot. I want to add an extra feature to the robot - automonus remote charging. Possibly by using a coil. at least for the moment so that if the robot comes within an electric field it will charge. I might design it to seek out electric fields as an mouse would seek out food.
But first i will build the robot and install snesors and program it.
WEEK 1. - 25-01-2010
1. Buy a toy romote control car which has forward, backward and steering.
2. Find where the controls are for forward, backward and steering and how a voltage/digital o/p can control these controls.
3. Install the microcontroller to control operation.
4. download a simple program to test the operation.
Week. 2. - 01-02-2010
1. Install proximity sensor and program, and test.
